direction for Ken's personal and professional life (amongst many
other influences!)
Ken works closely with a number of close colleagues (Associates) in
providing valued and responsive service to clients. |
Ken has consulted since 1990 to a wide range of organisations (and
people) in all Australian States and in New Zealand in private enterprise
and public and community service. |
Prior to his current consulting activities, Ken Gilbert has worked
as: teacher, in-service educator and inspector of secondary schools
(formerly Principal of Newmarket and Benowa State High Schools); Training
and Development Manager; Customer and Staff Services Manager. He has
worked full-time for: Education Queensland; Presbyterian (now Uniting)
Christian Education; BHP-Utah Coal; Australian Airlines; and Qantas
Airways. |
Ken's leadership and facilitation of performance improvement strategies
in Australian Airlines and as a consultant with other organisations
is well documented. He has played a major role in introducing the
leaders, the research, the programs and the developmental processes
of the Centre for Creative Leadership (USA) - (CCL) to Queensland. |
As a school Principal, Ken has been recognised for leading high performing
and innovative schools and school teams that consult closely with
parents and communities.
Ken works currently with a number of public and private schools and
colleges in Queensland |
Ken is a recipient
of the Paul Harris Fellowship from the Brisbane Planetarium
Rotary Club |
Ken holds degrees in Commerce, Education and Educational Administration
awarded by The University of Queensland and The University of Alberta
(Canada). He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management
and a Fellow of The Australian College of Educational Leaders. |
